This afternoon some Amish siblings came and asked if they could have the walnuts from our tree. We had no use for them so sure, go ahead. The only stipulation was that Bailey and Nicky had to have a ride on their cart. :) Two hours later, the nuts were all gathered and they were on their way home. I was told they get .08/lb. Wow.
We decided to take dad's '29 Ford through the Nappanee Apple Festival parade. Here are the boys and their friend Jonathan ready to roll.
Fun times splashing in the puddles!
The boys found a family of snails under a box. Bailey said they were putting 'glue' on his foot when they crawled. :)
Here are some pics of Darlene's sis Lenora's wedding and other random shots. I don't feel very chatty, so all you get is pics. LOL.
More to come since we have a week left of vaca. B

Summer fun back the long lane.
Oh the fun (and mess) of picking mulberries!
3 on Three
Freezing blueberries
Mom and Dad stopped in tonight in their '29 Model A Ford. We piled in and took it for a spin around the block. Fun times! Bailey kept telling Dad, "Bring the car to our house again". Rumble seats rock!
Nicky's 3rd birthday cake. All we heard from him the past few months was, "I want a Lightning the Queen cake"
That's all folks! B

Greetings once again...so soon. Well here are some more pics of our time in Pa.
This 'golf' game was an interesting thing. The game consisted of 2.5" diameter PVC 'cups' pounded into the ground, Clubs ranging from P Wedge up to 9 Wedge (NOTE: No putters were involved), and a course of 4 holes randomly set up across the yard. The holes were marked with a twig and a piece of TP. All were Par 3...like it mattered. Can you picture trying to putt with a wedge?! LOL! I just read what I wrote... Anyway, it was pretty difficult to putt in 2 inch grass into a 2.5 inch hole. It, needless to say, made for some pretty high numbers... And quite a few laughs by the ones who weren't putting or should I say 'wedging'... I must say it was reminiscent of Happy Gilmore.

Cooling off!
Some of the kids at the weekend outing at Wolf Rock.
Some pics of Darlene's trip to Cape May.
Darlene's group of old school friends. This was at her sis' bridal shower. (back center) That wraps up the Pa trip. Thanks for looking.
Here are some pics of our vaca in Pa. We went to the Strasburg railroad today. The boys had a blast!
The highlight of going to Pa!
We got off the train at a picnic spot and ate our lunch. The boys had fun on the swings and teeter-totter. After about an hour the train came through again, picked us up and took us back to the station.
FORECAST: 100% chance of more fun times this weekend.
